Structure: past modal: part 2

“I think it must have been about… ago… “

In this Unit there are several examples of how the strucutre can be used in answers to Part 1 questions.

Using the structure in Part 1 answers

Try to copy me – not just the words but the stress / phrasing etc. Remember every word must be clear. Speak aloud. Confidently.

Then look at other questions and practise using this structure: never say “it was two weeks ago..” Always use the modal with must!
